The storm
On June 22, 2020, a powerful tornado touched down near Enderlin, North Dakota, carving a path through the open plains of Cass County. Rated an EF3, the storm produced intense winds estimated up to 140 mph and remained on the ground for several miles.
Formed within a volatile summer setup, the tornado displayed classic structure, a well-defined condensation funnel, rotating debris field, and evolving morphology as it tracked across rural farmland.
This print captures the Enderlin tornado in full, documenting its structure, path, and the atmospheric conditions that produced it. A visual record of a significant Northern Plains severe weather event.
