The storm
TAKE COVER - THE LOWEST FLOOR. THE INNERMOST ROOM.
A wall cloud over a lone farm, set as a 1940s public-information notice in black ink on newsprint. Printed to order and shipped by our print partner.
Print Details: - Printed on ultra-high-quality Premium Lustre Paper for a professional, semi-gloss finish. - Available unframed, or framed in White, Black, Light Natural Wood or Dark Brown Wood. - Available Sizes: 5x7, A4 (8x12), A3, A2, and A1.
About the artwork: The photograph is a public domain image from the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory, reworked as a mid-century newsprint plate: converted to black ink on warm paper and re-screened as a coarse halftone, the way a 1940s press would have reproduced it. The typography is set fresh, not scanned.
No storm, place or date is named. This is original design work, not a reproduction of any historical poster.
